VIDEO: Charlotte Flair "Re-Injures" Becky Lynch's Knee At A SMACKDOWN Live Event

WWE is clearly playing up Becky Lynch's knee injury angle for all it's worth, and has now released footage from a recent SmackDownM live event of Charlotte Flair going to town on "The Man" with a steel chair.

Charlotte Flair has re-injured Becky Lynch's knee... or at least, that's what WWE would have us believe.

During a SmackDown live event in Alexandria, La., on Saturday night, "The Man" scaled the barricade from the crowd and attacked The Queen during her match with SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka. In the altercation that followed, Charlotte went after Lynch's knee before doing even more damage with a steel chair, re-aggravating the injury.

Becky Lynch is currently suspended (storyline) for 60 days, and while she is ultimately expected to be added to the Flair/Ronda Rousey WrestleMania match, it seems WWE is intent on keeping her out of the ring for a while.

The injury angle is likely down to the powers that be wanting her to head into the triple-threat match as an underdog, although there are rumors that Becky is dealing with legitimate knee issues, which may also have something to do with it.
