It's become apparent in recent weeks that fans aren't happy with the current creative direction WWE is taking and they've been tuning out as a result. Last week's RAW was a chore to sit through as over an hour of the show was devoted to Baron Corbin and while this Monday's effort was certainly an improvement, it still wasn't great and the lack of a top name babyface is clearly starting to hurt things.
Now, it's been revealed that Monday's RAW was watched by just 2.29 million viewers. That makes it the least viewed show in the history of RAW and Monday night wrestling in general. That's not good.
While the show was up against the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins game (which drew 11.24 million viewers), football isn't fully to blame because WWE squares off with the NFL every year. There's clearly a problem with the creative on RAW right now and this is hopefully going to lead to some big changes on the flagship show moving forward. What did you guys think of this latest episode?
