There have been rumors about UFC's Conor McGregor making a move to WWE for over a year now, but the most recent one seems to have prompted a response from the heads of both companies.

During an appearance on F*X News, Dana White was asked about the whole situation, and stated that "It's not true. It's absolutely not true," before adding that he texted the rumor to none other than Vince McMahon himself, who reportedly responded with questions marks and said, "It's news to me! It may be a good idea someday but not now."

You can see White showing the texts to the show's hosts in the video below, but there's still a chance they're just trying to play the whole thing down pending some kind of official announcemnet.

What do you guys think? Is Conor WWE-bound, or is this all baseless speculation?
