Vince McMahon And Triple H Were Reportedly Absent From This Week's RAW And SMACKDOWN LIVE Tapings

Before you go blaming Vince McMahon for more underwhelming instalments of RAW and SmackDown Live, a new report reveals that neither he nor Triple H were present for this week's tapings. So, who was in charge?

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reveals that Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Kevin Dunn were all absent during this week's RAW and SmackDown Live

It's noted that Stephanie doesn't attend TV events on a regular basis unless she's needed and Triple H was busy down in Florida sorting out two days worth of NXT television tapings (eight episodes are shot across the 48 hour period). As for Vince, he was busy back in Stamford with some corporate responsibilities. Dunn, meanwhile, doesn't attend TV tapings when the Chairman isn't present.

So, perhaps we don't have Vince to blame for this week's underwhelming episodes of RAW and SmackDown Live!

The man responsible, however, was Ed Koskey and it's said that he was "running around like crazy at Raw kind of in control." Needless to say, it's clear that changes need to be made with how WWE handles these tapings as the shows remain something of a mess.

What do you guys think?
