Vince McMahon Biopic PANDEMONIUM In The Works From FOCUS Directors

According to The Hollywood Reporter, TriStar Pictures is moving forward with a Vince McMahon biopic titled Pandemonium from directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa (Focus). Craig A. Williams (Underdog) penned the screenplay. American Sniper's Andrew Lazar is producing alongside WWE Studios President Michael Luisi and Aperture Entertainment's Adam Goldworm.

Pandemonium first started doing the rounds last year, but studios were hesitant to pick it up despite the script being very good. That's because neither WWE nor McMahon had signed off on the project, but that's now changed, and TriStar went all out to win the company over (even decorating their offices with WWE regalia).

It's unclear what stage of his life this will focus on, but the way he took over the company from his father and ruthlessly took down competing territories would be interesting. The Monday Night Wars are possible, of course, but the came much later. Trying to fit it all into one movie might be a bit much, but here's hoping we learn more about Pandemonium in the coming months.
