Karrion Kross was one of NXT's top stars, and fans were excited to see him and Scarlett bring that unique energy to the main roster. Instead, they worked dark matches for several weeks, and Vince McMahon stripped Kross of everything that made him such a great NXT Champion.

Recently, we've seen Kross don a bizarre gladiator-style costume and mask. Fans rejected the goofy concept, and the reason he vanished from television a few weeks ago has now been revealed.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, McMahon made the decision to pull Kross from RAW because he felt he wasn't getting over. As a result, there were plans in place to repackage him a third time, seemingly confirming that Vince has never heard the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Clearly, this is another pro wrestler he just didn't understand.

Kross has been dropping a few teases on social media, telling one fan that "We’re gonna blow your f*ckin mind in the near future" referring to his and Scarlett Bordeaux's future plans. Needless to say, we're optimistic that they could both become "All Elite" once their non-competes reach an end.

Kross, meanwhile, appears to have finally made his feelings known about that weird mask:
