Vince McMahon Has Rarely Been Backstage At WWE Events In Recent Months And Has Become "Private"

It seems like WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's days of tearing up scripts and running RAW and SmackDown from behind the scenes may have come to an end as a new report points to him having changed a lot lately...

Here's a weird one for you. According to Fightful Select, there's been some big changes behind the scenes of WWE in recent months because while "Vince McMahon is still hands on," it's said that the Chairman is "at a distance" these days as his "attendance isn’t exactly what it once was."

Believe it or not, Vince has "rarely" been seen at SmackDown since last Thanksgiving and, in terms of RAW, he tends to appear "approximately half the time."

That's a big change compared to what he's been like in the past, and oddly, the site mentions that "McMahon is said to have been exceptionally private of late." Could it be that he's losing the plot? Or, more likely, is he just devoting time to the XFL and happy to let others pick up the slack in his place?

He's not a young man now and travelling across the country twice a week just so he can watch over shows is possibly too much for him at this point. With any luck, we'll get more details soon, but things definitely appear to be changing backstage in WWE.
