Apparently, WWE officials are very pleased with the work of former NXT Champion Andrade "Cien" Almas on SmackDown Live. While he wasn't initially being used much on SmackDown Live after debuting on the main roster, he was never expected to shine in that spot but he's exceeded expectations in matches against the likes of Rusev and Daniel Bryan, hence why he's now being pushed.

Top WWE officials and even Vince McMahon have nothing but good things to say about Almas and he's now earned the trust of higher-ups, something which obviously bodes very well for his future.

With any luck, it will result in a WWE Championship run because he was a great NXT Champion and has the potential to really shine on the main roster. We'll just have to wait and see for now but he's booked to face R-Truth on tonight's SmackDown Live so that should be a pretty interesting match!
