It's common knowledge that Vince McMahon has a set of unwritten rules that he expects his Superstars to abide by, and one of them is to avoid engaging in any kind of unplanned or "worked" arguments on social media. Randy Orton and Tommaso Ciampa recently did just that, and are said to have incurred the wrath of the boss.
In case you missed it, The Viper gave a backhanded compliment to the recent NXT TakeOver: In Your House PPV, and The Blackheart responded by calling the multi-time WWE Champion's work boring (point). Randy then got the last word when he called Ciampa the "self appointed lockeroom leader of a wrestling school."
Despite being on different shows, some fans speculated that this might be setting up a feud between the two when Ciampa does make his way to Raw, but that doesn't appear to be the case.
Wrestling Observer Live's Bryan Alvarez has heard that McMahon was not best pleased about the Twitter spat, because he doesn't want anyone to think that a match is going to happen off the back of it. That's fair enough, but we do know that Ciamoa will eventually end up on the main roster, so what's the harm?
If he ever does end up feuding with Orton - which is entirety possible - they have this to refer back to. What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments, and check out the Tweets in question below.
