Vince McMahon Is Said To Be Very Happy With NO MERCY's Main Events; Still Sees Roman Reigns As "The Guy"

Despite both No Mercy main events getting a mixed response from fans and critics, Vince McMahon is said to have been very happy with how things turned out, and is still planning for Reigns VS. Lesnar at Mania.

Crowds can boo him out of every building on the planet until the cows come home, but it doesn't sound as if Vince McMahon is going to stop pushing Roman Reigns through the roof for quite a while... if ever.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, No Mercy was Vince's "distinct vision" with the ultimate goal of establishing Reigns and Brock Lesnar as WWE's two top superstars on the road to Wrestlemania 34, making both look as strong as possible in the process.

Apparently, the plan is still for The Big Dog to beat The Beast at Mania to become Universal Champion and the company’s "undisputed top star" - whether we like it or not.

There's always a chance this rumored Shield reunion will endear Reigns to fans a little, but Vince and WWE still have a long way to go if they want him to be fully embraced as "the guy" by the WWE Universe.
