We don't really get to see Vince McMahon on WWE television these days but he made a surprise (and extremely rare) backstage appearance during a post-show interview following SmackDown on Friday as The New Day discussed the open challenged they'd issued earlier that night.

As you may recall, that saw SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E and Xavier Woods pick up the win over Cesaro and Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

As The New Day members discussed their five-year anniversary as a team in WWE, Vince appeared and said that the titles looked "very becoming" on them. This might be a first for one of these backstage interviews and as one of Vince's best ideas (even if he imagined them as being very different), it's easy to see figure out why he's proud of their success!
