Vince McMahon May Have Changed His Mind About Giving Shayna Baszler A Big WRESTLEMANIA Match

Rumour has it that Becky Lynch will defend the RAW Women's Championship against Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania, but it now sounds like Vince McMahon is having his doubts about the match. Check it out...

During Monday night's episode of RAW, Shayna Baszler squared off with Kairi Sane in a match which saw fans chant "This Is Boring!" (it's also received negative reviews online). It's hard to say what went wrong, but it was a slow and plodding bout which certainly didn't make the former NXT Women's Champion look worthy of a WrestleMania match.

Well, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer is reporting that there's some uncertainty on Vince McMahon's part about Baszler's potential moving forward. It sounds like he's concerned specifically with what happened on Monday, and her not coming across like a main event talent based on the reaction she received could lead to a change in plans.

Bear in mind, that this isn't the first time McMahon has been disappointed in Baszler as he also wasn't a fan of last year's Triple Threat main event at Survivor Series (where she battled Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch).

Assuming this WrestleMania match does now change, we have no idea what the new plan will be. It is, however, possible that McMahon chooses to bury the NXT alum at the Show of Shows.
