All Elite Wrestling wasn't referred to by name during today's WWE investor conference call but the company was alluded to when the subject of competition came up. Vince McMahon acknowledged that competition is good for everyone but said that he hopes they won't be moving forward with blood and guts.

"I can’t speak for TNT but I can’t imagine they’d put up with that, but nonetheless," he said, noting that WWE is going to become a "bit edgier" while remaining PG.

He was quick to point out that WWE will not be returning to the Attitude Era and regarding blood, he has no interest in going back to that "crap that they graduated from." He went on to say that WWE is a "more sophisticated product" which is definitely a stretch when you look at some recent storylines from the company!

However, AEW's use of bloody has made some fans uncomfortable and Tony Khan has alluded to that not happening on regular TV and being saved for PPV events only.
