Vince McMahon Reportedly Made The Decision To Bury Cedric Alexander On CLASH OF CHAMPIONS And RAW

If you've been wondering what the deal is with Cedric Alexander's quick losses and beatdowns at the hands of United States Champion AJ Styles, you can thank/blame WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Check it out...

Cedric Alexander faced AJ Styles on the Clash of Champions Kickoff show and ended up being beaten in short order by the United States Champion. While no one expected him to win, he came across as an afterthought and was beaten down in short order after the bell rang. Then, the same thing happened on last night's RAW!

Well, according to Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Vince McMahon reportedly wants to bury Alexander.

We don't know why but Alexander was one of the guys Paul Heyman was keen to push so it's definitely a surprise. Clearly, Cedric did something (probably very minor) that Vince didn't like and that's why his push has reached an abrupt end.

It is, of course, possible that there's a plan in place for Alexander to win the United States title and these apparent burials are meant to help make sure that moment catches fans off guard but it seems unlikely. For now, we'll just have to wait and see how things play out.
