The IC title match between Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler aside, last night's episode of Raw was pretty awful. A combination of bad promos, boring angles with little to no progression, hardly any actual in-ring action and ridiculous levels of heel heat resulted in a fairly torturous 3 hours.

After the episode, many speculated that Vince McMahon - who's sense of humor tends to lean towards childish, let's say - must have had a lot of creative input because of some of the sophomoric nonsense on display, and it looks like they were right.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, McMahon was backstage last night and did indeed oversee the creative aspect of the show.

What do you guys think? Was Raw really that bad or are people exaggerating? Drop us a comment in the usual place, and stay tuned for our coverage of SmackDown LIVE.
