Despite being one of the most well-rounded Superstars on the
WWE roster, Andrade has only just begun to make waves since he moved up to
SmackDown LIVE from
NXT, and that may be because he's been taking English lessons.
According to
PW Torch, Andrade went to Vince McMahon and asked flat-out for a bigger push. Apparently, the Chairman looked at him and said, "learn some English and get back to me."
Not having at least some English is obviously going to be a setback for any
WWE performer, but there have always been ways around it, and Zelina Vega has been doing a great job as Andrade's mouthpiece so far. After all, if Brock Lesnar can get away with barely uttering a sentence in over 3 years, why can't Andrade?
Regardless, El Idolo has been cutting more promos lately and his English has noticeably improved, which is probably why he's winning more matches and is the current favorite to walk out of
Money in the Bank with that highly sought-after briefcase.
