Vince McMahon Shows Up On SMACKDOWN; Gives Naomi A Shot At Asuka's Women's Championship

Vince McMahon returned to TV last night on Raw, but The Chairman also made his presence felt on SmackDown LIVE when he awarded Naomi a shot at Asuka's newly won Women's Title. Find out what went down...

Becky Lynch was the first Superstar to make her way out to the ring on SmackDown LIVE tonight, but she was soon joined by Charlotte Flair and new Women's Champion, Asuka.

As the trio bickered about who should be champion, none other than Vince McMahon showed up and chastised "The Man" and "The Queen" for complaining about Ronda Rousey getting involved in the TLC triple-threat match. He then told The Empress of Tomorrow that she'd be defending her title, and Naomi answered the call.

The two friends had a solid back-and-forth bout, but in the end Asuka submitted Naomi with her Asuka Lock.

While it's great to see Naomi back in the mix, we're really not sure about The McMahon Regime's "New Era" yet. It's going to take more than giving a few upper mid-carders title shots to get the fans back on board.
