Dammit, Vince!
Tonight before Fastlane got underway, Vince McMahon told Kofi Kingston to come see him at his office, and left him waiting over an hour. When Xavier Woods and Big E saw him waiting backstage they barged in to see what was going on, and Vince told them he'd had a change of heart and was adding Kofi to the WWE Championship match, making it a triple-threat.
With his New Day teammates banned from ringside, Kingston excitedly made his way to the ring for the match, only for the announcer to reveal that the WWE Title bout would actually take place later on the PPV, and Kofi would have to take on Sheamus and Cesaro in a handicap match. It didn't take long for The Bar to make short work of Kingston.
So, what's this all about? Well, it seems Vince has it in for The New Day, and Kofi in particular - although it's not really clear why just yet. Whatever the reason, expect Kofi to get that title shot eventually, and WrestleMania seems the most likely place.
