Vince McMahon Was Once Again Not Backstage At RAW Due To His Commitments To The XFL

It appears as if Vince McMahon really is stepping away from WWE because it's now been revealed that he was once again absent from RAW this past Monday. Find out more details on that after the jump...

In the past, Vince McMahon was backstage at almost every WWE show, and he rarely took time off from the company. Well, that's changed over the past year or so as the WWE Chairman has been devoting his time to outside endeavours.

That obviously includes the XFL, and Dave Meltzer is now reporting that Vince wasn't present for Monday night's episode of RAW because he was busy working on commitments to the football league.

Most fans agree that RAW has been better off with Paul Heyman in charge, especially as he's been prioritising building new stars like Aleister Black and Ricochet. McMahon will presumably be in Saudi Arabia for Super ShowDown, so it will be interesting finding out whether Vince changes up any plans for the PPV on the fly.

How do you guys feel about Vince not being so hands on with WWE?
