The ratings continue to be on an upswing for WWE this week as the fallout from Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view and the promise to “shake things up” has garnered a 2.214 million viewers for the blue brand.
The show featured Asuka defending her title for the first time against former Smackdown Women’s champion Naomi, a renewed focus on the tag team division, and Mustafa Ali pulling off the upset victory by pinning WWE champion Daniel Bryan in a tag team match.
This week's SmackDown viewership is up 12% from last week's 1.977 million viewers, which was the third-lowest audience since the blue brand moved to Tuesday nights, barely beating the 1.921 million viewers from Election Night on November 8th, 2016.
