We FINALLY Have Some News On When WWE Hall Of Famer Edge Is Expected To Make His Return

We haven't seen Edge since his big loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, but a new report sheds some light on when the Rated R Superstar plans to step back into the squared circle. Read on for details...

At this year's WrestleMania, Edge and Daniel Bryan were both pinned by Roman Reigns at the same time, coming out on a losing effort to win the Universal Championship.

While we always knew that the Rated R Superstar was always going to have a limited schedule in WWE, it's still surprising that the WWE Hall of Famer has been M.I.A. since April. It's previously been reported that Edge will return on the July 16 episode of SmackDown, the first weekly show to welcome fans back since before the pandemic (John Cena is also expected to be in attendance).

Well, according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, "Since Edge is billed to return on the Houston Smackdown, and there is talk about bringing back big names, his wrestling at SummerSlam seems to add up."

It's hard to say who Edge would face at SummerSlam; Reigns is expected to square off with John Cena, so that's off the table, and it could all depend whether he comes back as a heel or babyface.

Seth Rollins could be a good pick, especially as there's history between the two men (when Edge wasn't cleared to wrestle, Rollins threatened to Curb Stomp him).

We'll have to wait and see, but you'll find the latest updates by checking back here!
