The rumors of current WWE Universal champion Brock Lesnar returning to the octagon seem to be true after all.
UFC President Dana White appeared on Fox Sports' UFC Tonight show earlier today to promote UFC 223 and was asked about "The Beast" returning to the Octagon.
"Yeah," Dana responded.
"Brock Lesnar's coming back. I don't know when but yes he is."
Lesnar's WWE contract expires after WrestleMania 34 on Sunday, where he faces Roman Reigns for the Universal title. WWE and Lesnar have been in talks regarding a new contract, but, as far as we know, there's been no agreement between the two.
Lesnar can always fight inside the octagon while under a WWE contract like he did back in July 2016 when he fought Mark Hunt - though that win was later overturned to a no contest due to failed drug tests related to the fight. However, all signs do point to Lesnar returning to the UFC and continuing his career in MMA.
