Were You At The WWE HALL OF FAME Ceremony In New Orleans? You May Want To Get Checked For Measles

Were you in New Orleans a week ago today for WWE's Hall of Fame ceremony? Well, you may want to pay a visit to the doctors because local news stations in the city are investigating a possible measles outbreak.

This is a bit of a weird one but local news stations in New Orleans are reporting that Louisiana state officials have started investigating a confirmed case of the measles in New Orleans during WrestleMania. The fan who brought the illness into the city hails from the UK and attended the Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday before being hospitalised on Saturday (meaning he missed the show).

For those of you who may not realise, measles is highly contagious and spreads rapidly among those who aren't vaccinated. Now, the Louisiana State Department is attempting to retrace this fan's steps in order to see which other areas in the city may have been infected. The measles can't be treated with antibiotics and has to just run its course but it's not the sort of thing you want to spread.

So, if you were at the WWE Hall of Fame last week, you may want to keep an eye on yourself and get down to the doctors for a vaccination if you don't have one already just to be on the safe side.
