This Saturday, Night of Champions will take place in the Jeddah SuperDome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As per usual when WWE visits that part of the world, the card is positively stacked, and we now have news on which match will headline the event.
As expected, Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar, Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa, and Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles for the World Heavyweight Championship are all viewed as joint main events.
However, only one can go on last. So, which match will headline Night of Champions?
According to multiple outlets, it's going to be Rollins vs. Styles. It makes sense considering a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned and, if WWE wants fans to take the newly introduced title seriously, it can't be treated as secondary to Reigns' belts.
As for the rest of the confirmed title matches, those are Gunther vs. Mustafa Ali for the Intercontinental Championship and Bianca Belair vs. Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship. Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch are also expected to square off at the show, though we're not expecting any additional bouts to be added to the card.
Friday night's SmackDown has already been taped (read a full breakdown of what happens here) and that's where Austin Theory will next defend his United States Championship.
As for the Women's Tag Team Championships, those aren't expected to be on the line until the RAW after Night of Champions.
WWE is, however, teasing the following for tonight's episode:
