One of the featured matches set to take place this Saturday, April 19, 2025 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for WWE Stand & Deliver is to settle the new title-holder for the vacated NXT Women's North American Championship.
The title was relinquished by Stephanie Vaquer after she and Ava came to the decison that her being a double champion wasn't what was best for the women's division, and that it would be better for someone else to have it to spread the wealth and defend it more often.
It was announced that at Stand and Deliver, six women would compete for the vacated title in a ladder match. To settle who would participate, there were several qualifying matches over the past few weeks that saw ZARIA, Kelani Jordan, Sol Ruca, and Izzi Dame earn four of those spots (by beating Lash Legend, Roxanne Perez, Jazmyn Nyx, and Wren Sinclair respectively).
Strangely, WWE was vague and non-committal about announcing the final two qualifiers, not saying anything until tonight's episode was well underway, and then, randomly just having Tatum Paxley vs. Lola Vice for one of the matches. Vice was victorious after hitting her spinning backfist:
The final spot went to a returning Thea Hail, who defeated Karmen Petrovic by submission to make a big statement upon coming back to NXT after not having been in a televised match since Great American Bash on July 30, 2024.
