This year's Elimination Chamber matches are slowly but surely filling up, and two more names can be added to the mix after tonight's episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
On this show, there was a Triple Threat match for the men's qualifier, as well as a singles match for the women's division.
One half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Naomi, was victorious over the Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green. Interestingly, this means Naomi will be facing off in part against her tag team partner, as Bianca Belair has also previously qualified for the Elimination Chamber match.
Also of note, though it didn't come into play here directly, Trish Stratus was shown ringside. The WWE Hall of Famer mentioned that she's going to be making an appearance at Elimination Chamber, and it just deciding whether she's going to be in a normal seat in the crowd or in a suite.
Some speculation had been passed around as of late that Green could be booked for a Women's United States Championship title defense, and with this being in Toronto, as well as Green not qualifying here, there's a very good chance Green faces Stratus in a match to be added to the card at another date.
Later on in the night, the Triple Threat match between "The Archer of Infamy" Damian Priest, "The Monster of All Monsters" Braun Strowman, and "The Samoan Werewolf" Jacob Fatu was won by Priest who scored the pinfall over Strowman.
The final two spots left to determine for the Elimination Chamber will be settled on Monday Night Raw with Roxanne Perez against Raquel Rodriguez and Finn Balor against Seth Rollins.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 takes place on March 1st at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Here is the current updated lineup for the show as it currently stands:
- Men's Elimination Chamber Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre vs. John Cena vs. Logan Paul vs. (Seth Rollins or Finn Balor) vs. Damian Priest
- Women's Elimination Chamber Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan vs. Naomi vs. (Roxanne Perez or Raquel Rodriguez)
