The January 13, 2025 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw emanated out of a sold out SAP Center in San Jose, California, airing internationally on Netflix.

This episode was poised to feature the crowning of the first-ever women's intercontinental champion, a street fight between former Judgment Day teammates Damian Priest and Finn Balor, the debut of former All Elite Wrestling star PENTA against Chad Gable, appearances from Rhea Ripley, CM Punk, world heavyweight champion Gunther and more.

Here are your results for WWE Raw for January 13, 2025:

  • The show opened with a promo from CM Punk, who thanked the responders helping out with the fires in California. He then talked about beating Seth Rollins on last week's premiere of Raw on Netflix and reasserted that he plans on winning the Royal Rumble match. Seth Rollins then came out to say that his loss last week was the worst of his career as he underestimated Punk. As a result, he's going to make it his mission to ruin Punk's goal of going to WrestleMania, because he's also entering the Royal Rumble and will win it. As they continued to talk trash, Drew McIntyre interrupted to join in on the verbal assaults, attacking both of them with insults and saying that nobody realizes how much power Roman Reigns is amassing. Reigns is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. Since he's a reluctant hero who always has to save the day, even for people like Rollins and Punk who don't realize it, McIntyre is also entering the Royal Rumble and will win it.
  • Penta defeated Chad Gable (accompanied by American Made's Ivy Nile, Brutus Creed and Julius Creed) by pinfall. After the match, Jackie Redmond interviewed Penta about his recent signing, win, and the crowd reaction. Penta thanked San Jose, said WWE is his new home. He knows everyone was waiting for this moment, but HE'S been waiting for this moment. This is not only a new era in WWE and the Netflix Era, but this is now the Penta Era.
  • Backstage, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez approached Finn Balor, Carlito and JD McDonagh. Balor and Morgan had another tense fake nice moment. Dominik Mysterio came over with flowers for Morgan, who claimed she wasn't mad for last week, but is now treating him like a servant. JD McDonagh and Carlito went off to ask for a rematch for the tag team titles while Mysterio went to get Morgan's bags and Balor prepped for his upcoming street fight.
  • Sheamus defeated Ludwig Kaiser by pinfall. He has now seemingly become No. 1 contender to the Intercontinental Championship.
  • Cathy Kelley spoke to Seth Rollins backstage, who has a match next week against Drew McIntyre. Sami Zayn then came over to Rollins, who wasn't particularly receptive to him as he's mad that Zayn continues to help Roman Reigns.
  • After the break, Karrion Kross and The Miz got into it backstage with Sami Zayn, leading to Zayn requesting a match against The Miz, who was talking about how he's a former two-time world champion and that's something Zayn will never do. Kross casually mentioned that The Wyatt Sicks have been moved over to Friday Night SmackDown.
  • Gunther cut a promo about how he has been unimpressed with the other talent. Jey Uso came out to say that he's put everything behind him and wants to challenge The Ring General for the World Heavyweight Championship at the next Saturday Night's Main Event coming up on January 25th. Gunther reminded Jey that he's beaten him before when they fought for the Intercontinental Championship. He puts Jey over for being funny and entertaining, but when the bell rings, he's going to be exposed as just a really talented tag team wrestler.
  • Inaugural WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament Final Match: Lyra Valkyria defeated Dakota Kai by pinfall to win the title!
  • Sami Zayn defeated The Miz by pinfall with a Blue Thunder Bomb.
  • Rhea Ripley had an in-ring promo segment talking about winning back the Women's World Championship. Nia Jax interrupted, indicating she may have been traded over to the Raw roster, declaring herself for the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble match. She insulted Bayley, who was ringside, and the segment ended with Bayley and Ripley teaming up to take out Jax.
  • Street Fight: Damian Priest defeated Finn Balor by pinfall.
