We know that Daniel Bryan's contract with WWE ends this fall but it's now been confirmed by Dave Meltzer that his current deal expires on September 1st.
Melzter has revealed that the leader of the Yes Movement has yet to sign a new deal and it's now going to be up to the company to convince him to stick around (if he leaves, that will make shooting Total Bellas very awkward indeed).
During a recent chat with Chris Jericho, Bryan jokes about appearing at All In in Chicago, something he won't be able to do even if he does choose to leave the company given WWE's no-compete clause.
Bryan has a lot of options this fall. He could choose to remain with WWE or head back to companies like New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor in order to gain a little more freedom with his career. The Superstar has frequently said that he would like to do a hair vs. mask match for CMLL, so it's all going to boil down to whether or not he takes the safe option or chooses to follow his dreams.
