Will NXT Superstar Candice LeRae Compete For The SMACKDOWN Women's Title At CLASH OF CHAMPIONS?

Most fans were disappointed with Bayley's match against Ember Moon at SummerSlam due to the poor build leading up to the bout, but it now appears as if her next challenger will be an NXT Superstar...

On RAW, WWE officially announced that Clash of Champions will take place on September 15th in Charlotte, North Carolina. That means every title will be on the line, but in the case of SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley, it sounds like she could end up defending hers against a popular NXT Superstar.

As you can see below, Bayley randomly reached out to Candice LeRae to ask if she wants a match and the response she got was a positive one!

This could have just been an attempt by the two WWE Superstars to convince the company to give them a shot, but it probably won't be until tonight's SmackDown Live that we find out just how serious this back and forth exchange actually was. Either way, it's certainly generated a fair bit of attention online, and it would be an awesome match.

What do you guys think?
