Will Stephanie Vaquer Lose One Of Her NXT Women's Titles Next Week?

Stephanie Vaquer just became a double champion last week at WWE Roadblock, but her time as both NXT Women's and Women's North American champion may be coming to an end as soon as next week's NXT episode!

Three matches have been announced for next week's episode of WWE NXT (Tuesday, March 25, 2025), and it seems that one of those three titles is almost assured to be changing hands.

First off, the unrelated title on the line is the NXT Heritage Cup, wherein Lexis King will defend the trophy against Je'Von Evans.

This came about after a backstage segment in the locker room on tonight's episode of NXT, wherein Je'Von Evans was talking to Trick Williams and trying to get on the same page about how they need to fight off the attackers of Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shugars, Cutler James, and Dion Lennox. Williams did what he's been doing as of late, where he diminished Evans, said he'll never be champion, and that they're not the same. Right after that, King decided to walk over and pile on, making fun of Evans for his recent jaw injury and saying that he can at least eat solid food now. Evans then punched King in the mouth.

But the real story here is that Stephanie Vaquer will defend both her NXT Women's Championship and NXT Women's North American Championship titles.

Vaquer won the Women's North American title from Fallon Henley at Vengeance Day on February 15th, and captured the NXT Women's Championship from Giulia last week on WWE Roadblock. As a double champion, she wants to prove herself in the best women's division on the planet, so she wants to be a fighting champion, and this is almost guaranteed to cost her next week.

Wanting a challenger, she stated that whoever was out first would get a title shot. Jordynne Grace came out, only to be jumped from behind by Jaida Parker. That attack allowed Parker to technically be in the ring first, so she's going to face Vaquer for the NXT women's title next week.

But when Ava was informing Vaquer of this in her office, Fallon Henley interrupted to once again complain about not getting a rematch for the Women's North American title. Vaquer decided to just accept a match anyway, and it was settled that she'll first face Parker in the opening match next week, and then, defend the North American title against Henley in the main event.

If you've watched wrestling long enough, you know how this will go. Vaquer will retain at first, and then, either be so beaten up by that match alone (or will get attacked post-match) that she'll walk into the second match injured and not up to her full strength. Whether clean or through some extra interference from Fatal Influence, Henley will win back the Women's North American Championship to end next week's show.

More matches and segments will assuredly be added to the lineup, but for now, this is the card for next week's episode of NXT:

  • NXT Women's Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Jaida Parker
  • NXT Heritage Cup Match: Lexis King (c) vs. Je'Von Evans
  • NXT Women's North American Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Fallon Henley

What do you think about this lineup for next week's episode? Do you think any of the titles will change hands? Drop your thoughts in the comments section below and keep the discussion going!
