On last night's Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked about Kairi Sane's current contract with WWE as there are rumours she could leave the company. Well, her deal is indeed expected to end in March 2020 as she signed a three-year contract with WWE in March 2017.

Apparently, Sane has "definitely expressed interest" in going elsewhere and there is interest from Takaaki Kidani, head of Bushiroad, about getting her back in with the Stardom promotion in Japan.

Kidani revealed during a recent interview that they want to bring back both Sane and Io Shirai and given the way both women have been used in WWE, it's easy to imagine them being tempted to return home. In the case of Shirai, though, she's under contract until at least summer 2021.

We'll keep you guys updates as and when we hear more!
