As expected, WWE has announced that the next instalment of the long-running WWE 2K video game franchise will be released this Fall. A specific release date hasn't been revealed but they're a yearly occurrence and always hit stores with larger rosters and new and upgraded content for wrestling fans.

Nothing official has been revealed thus far beyond what you see in the Tweet below and so we're left to speculate who could end up gracing the cover. Ronda Rousey would be an awesome choice, especially as she'll more than likely win the RAW Women's Champion at Money in the Bank and would be the first female wrestler to ever grace the cover of one of these WWE video games.

E3 is less than a month away so don't be surprised if we end up learning more there. In past years, the roster has been revealed via IGN so chances are they'll get the exclusive this year too. Who are you hoping to see on the WWE 2K19 cover? As always, let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
