WWE has announced today that Dey Street Books is publishing a "tell-all" book which is being promoted as "the first oral history of WWE" from writers/journalists Craig Marks and Rob Tennenbaum, both of whom have been given unprecedented access to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. They will also interview current and former WWE Superstars along with others involved with the company.
That will include writers, producers, managers, business executives and celebrities who’ve made guest appearances. This will be the most revealing look yet at the innovative and fearless McMahon, in his own words, his family’s words and the words of those who’ve worked with or against him over the past 50 years. The question is, will we get the honest story with WWE keeping a close eye on things?
"This will be an unapologetic look at the good, the bad and the ugly, and the journey that made WWE into the global phenomenon it is today," Vince McMahon said in a press release.
All the signs are pointing to this being a pretty great read even if it does gloss over some of the sketchier moments in WWE history. We'll have to wait and see on that front but chances are we won't be getting our hands on this one for at least a couple of years. In the meantime, stay tuned for updates.
