After his shocking heel turn last Monday, Drew McIntyre finally explained his actions during yesterday evening's episode of RAW. As suspected, it all came down to his disdain for Jey Uso and what The Bloodline did to him when he was chasing down Roman Reigns' Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
He still blames that faction for his loss at Clash at the Castle last September, saying they cost him the biggest moment of his career in front of his family.
Confirming he has no plans to join The Judgement Day, the Scottish WWE Superstar went on to explain that Rhea Ripley has simply given him the chance to get inside a cage with Jey, and he now plans on taking his revenge at the upcoming PLE.
The two WarGames teams eventually came face-to-face, with Drew defeating Jey later in the night to earn the advantage for his team. Interestingly, he picked up the win with the Future Shock DDT instead of the Claymore Kick, a sign perhaps that he plans on making some big changes to his in-ring work as well.
As RAW came to a close, Cody Rhodes finally announced the fifth member of his team, saying they have a "legacy" and calling them an "Apex Predator."
The crowd chanted for Randy, and the American Nightmare confirmed that, yes, Randy Orton will return at Survivor Series! Jey looked a little concerned by the news, no great surprise considering the fact he and The Bloodline were responsible for putting the former WWE Champion on the shelf.
Where does this leave CM Punk's rumoured return? Well, many fans believe that he'll square off with Shinsuke Nakamura, but with WarGames now full, it may be best to temper expectations on that front.
