WWE has announced that Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona will host the Royal Rumble PPV on January 27th, 2019. This marks not only WWE's first visit to the venue but the first time that the event has been held at a baseball stadium. It's also been confirmed that the Talking Stick Resort Arena will hold NXT TakeOver, RAW, and SmackDown Live so it's going to be a big weekend.

Talking of big, the stadium can hold 48,519 fans for baseball games so this the show will have a considerably larger audience than your normal monthly PPVs on the WWE Network.

This year's Royal Rumble takes place this Sunday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. As well as two Rumble matches, we'll see Universal Champion Brock Lesnar defending his title against Braun Strowman and Kane in a Triple Threat Match and WWE Champion AJ Styles putting the gold on the line in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
