WrestleMania 41 wasn't that long ago, but Backlash takes place at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri this weekend on Saturday, May 10.
The card for the PLE appears to have been set, with the expected five matches currently booked for the show. Those of you in the U.S. will be able to watch Backlash on Peacock; everyone else will find it either on Netflix or the WWE Network.
The two-hour "Countdown" show kicks off at 5pm ET/2pm PT, with the show itself kicking off at 7pm ET/4pm PT (that's 12am in the UK).
Here's the current, confirmed card for Backlash heading into Friday's SmackDown:
Undisputed WWE Championship Match
John Cena vs. Randy Orton
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match
Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch
WWE United States Championship Match
Jacob Fatu vs. LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Dominik Mysterio vs. Penta
Gunther vs. Pat McAfee
Last night's RAW ended with Jey Uso defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins. Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker's repeated interference made it seem like The Visionary would get his hands on the title, only for Sami Zayn and CM Punk to help even the odds.
Rollins and Breakker don't have a third man, meaning it's unlikely a Six-Man Tag Team match will be added to the Backlash card in the coming days.
Or is it? After RAW went off the air, Logan Paul showed up and took out Jey with a punch. WWE and Triple H made a point of sharing the footage on social media, suggesting this is building to something much bigger.
While Jey might defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Paul at Backlash, a tag team match seems more likely, with Jey vs. Paul likely saved for Saturday Night's Main Event on NBC on May 25.
Alternatively, the rumoured Six-Man bout will happen on NBC, with Jey vs. Paul saved for Money in the Bank on June 7 in Los Angeles' Intuit Dome. We'll have to wait and see.
