WWE Backstage clearly isn't proving to be essential viewing for wrestling fans as this week's episode drew a disastrous 84,000 viewers. That's a significant drop from the previous Tuesday's 124,000 viewers and the lowest number since it premiered with 49,000 viewers last year.

The show did a .03 rating in the key 18 - 49 demographic which is down from the previous week's .04.

There was no CM Punk this week but The Usos and Freddie Prinze Jr. were the special guests and Ember Moon returned as an analyst. It was also revealed during the show that Elias has signed a new multi-year contract with WWE.

Did you guys tune in to WWE Backstage or do you just not see the point?
