This Saturday, August 31, 2024, WWE holds the Bash in Berlin PLE from the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany. As has become the norm with the "Triple H Era," there will be five matches on the card and they all promise to be must-see given the way they've been built up in recent weeks.
Remember, you'll be able to watch SummerSlam on Peacock in the U.S. and on the WWE Network internationally (starting next January, fans outside the U.S. will have access to every live PLE on Netflix).
The event begins at 10.00 am PT, 1.00 pm ET, 6.00 pm BST/GMT, and at 7.00 pm in Berlin.
Here's the full Bash in Berlin match card:
World Heavyweight Championship Match
Gunther (c) vs. Randy Orton
Undisputed WWE Championship Match
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens
Strap Match
CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
Mixed Tag Team Match
Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest vs. Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan
Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn (c) vs. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill
Imperium's Ludwig Kaiser has only been used sporadically on television since returning from injury and recently shared his excitement to appear in front of his home crowd (despite not having a match, we'd imagine the plan is for him to introduce Gunther).
"It’s a little more than just the event itself. It’s a whole weekend, we have SmackDown before that," he said. "There are different activities you can do. Everyone who gets a ticket is there for more than just the few matches. The whole feeling is incredible. Nobody does it like the WWE. On August 31st we have the really big finale with the Bash In Berlin."
"For me, as the only German representative in the WWE, this is something very special. This is an absolute highlight this year. Our eyes in WWE are always on WrestleMania," Kaiser added. "But this is the very first big highlight for me now that I’m working towards. I look forward to marching in front of my people."
Bash in Berlin marks Gunther's first World Heavyweight Championship defence since beating Damian Priest for the title earlier this month. With that in mind, it seems unlikely that he'll lose it to Orton so soon into what should be a dominant reign as champion.
