Eva Marie's WWE return has definitely been different to what we expected, and her partnership with NXT UK Superstar Piper Niven (now renamed Doudrop) has played out over the past few weeks in a weird, predictable way. We've already done the inevitable betrayal after Eva took credit for Niven's first win, and they've both since walked out on the other.

So, what does Vince McMahon make of this angle? According to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, "The story I was told to me was, ‘he wasn’t sold on the idea, but let’s do it’. Then after that first week, where Piper stood up to her. He loved it, he loved the facial expressions."

"Obviously, I’m paraphrasing stories I heard from multiple people. There’s going to be a lot more storyline development with these characters in the weeks ahead."

We're not sure if that's a good or bad thing, but the WWE Chairman is said to be "super impressed" with Niven so far and apparently loves where this storyline is heading.

Eva and "Doudrop" have also hyped tonight's episode of RAW, so check back here for updates!
