The first match for Smackdown live in 2018 has been officially set!
WWE Champion AJ Styles will take on former NXT Champion Sami Zayn on the first Smackdown Live of 2018. The match will follow on from Kevin Owens defeating Styles last week.
This isn’t the first time Styles and Zayn faced off one on one, as their previous encounter was on RAW back on April 11, 2016. Styles took the victory, which advanced him into an excellent WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns at Payback. Will the issues between Shane McMahon and Sami Zayn get in the way of Styles' match against Zayn? We’ll find out this Tuesday! In addition to who advances in the US Championship tournament.
