The big news coming out of this week's SmackDown Live was that Brock Lesnar will challenge Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship on the first episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX. The Beast hit The New Day member with an F5 and it's obviously going to be very interesting seeing how this plays out.

Lesnar is a ratings draw for WWE and making him WWE Champion does make sense. Plus, another loss after Seth Rollins defeated him at both WrestleMania and SummerSlam would hurt his standing as an unstoppable force in a major way.

Then again, is it not too soon to end Kingston's title run? Well, either way, he's now taken to social media to respond to what happened last night and it's clear he's ready to give Lesnar the fight of his life. WWE has certainly set the stage for an exciting premiere so stay tuned for more on the episode as we have it.
