The New Day was supposed to face The Viking Warriors on last night's RAW and while that match did take place, it was interrupted by Samoa Joe. That led to WWE Champion Kofi Kingston making an appearance and following a commercial break, fans were treated to a six man tag team match.

That ended with Joe putting the WWE Champion to sleep and things are now looking good for him ahead of their match at the Extreme Rules PPV.

However, during commentary for this match, Corey Graves mentioned "rumours" that their confrontation at the show will be a Ladder match. This hasn't been reported online anywhere so may have been WWE's attempt to tease the stipulation or just see if that's something fans will be interested in.

Either way, it will be nice to get an Extreme Rules PPV with some actual stipulation matches!
