WWE Confirms Paige Won't Compete In The ROYAL RUMBLE But There's No Mention Of Her Retirement

It's been a very difficult couple of years for Paige. The British wrestler has been plagued by serious neck injuries, split with her fiancee Alberto Del Rio, and saw a number of explicit videos belonging to her hacked and leaked online. Things have now got even worse, though, as it's been said that her wrestling career is at an end after an injury suffered at a WWE Live event courtesy of Sasha Banks.

On last night's episode of RAW, Paige's injury was acknowledged when announcer Tom Phillips confirmed that she's now been removed from the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match.

WWE followed that with a statement reading, "As reported during tonight’s Monday Night Raw broadcast, Paige will not compete in this year’s historic 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match due to a neck injury. Stay with WWE.com as more information becomes available." Nothing has been said about her retiring, however, and she still appeared at ringside during the show.
