Kevin Owens recently filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against Shane McMahon for $25 million after he was wrongly fired by the WWE executive. If Shane loses, Owens gets his job back and he'll be forced to leave WWE. However, if Shane wins, that lawsuit is dropped and KO will remain "fired."

Well, after it was revealed that their respective futures will be decided in a Ladder match with a briefcase hanging above the ring, WWE has now confirmed when the match will take place.

Rather than at the Hell in a Cell PPV, it will be during next week's Friday Night SmackDown premiere. WWE is filling the show with as many big names and matches as possible to ensure that it feels like a big deal and, right now, it's arguably even more exciting than that PPV.

Are you guys excited for this match?
