Several huge announcements have been made for RAW Monday night, including the reveal of Kurt Angle’s final opponent at WrestleMania 35.
The former WWE champion addressed the crowd this past Monday and revealed that he will have a farewell match at WrestleMania 35. For months, the Olympic Gold Medalist has teased retirement from in-ring competition, with various reports claiming that Angle’s final opponents could be either John Cena (a heavy favorite at the moment), Rey Mysterio, The Undertaker, Triple H, and Brock Lesnar. Unless Triple H and Brock Lesnar are going to pull double duty at WrestleMania, I think we can safely cross off those two names on the list.
WWE is also advertising: Finn Balor and a mystery opponent taking on the new Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush. As well as Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre and Ronda Rousey defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Dana Brooke.
Paul Heyman also announced last week that Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will be appearing live to possibly confront his challenger at WrestleMania, Seth Rollins. Raw is shaping up to be a huge show, which shouldn’t be a surprise since we’re three weeks away from WrestleMania.
