Kofi Kingston lost the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar in a matter of seconds and, well, it's never been mentioned again. Now, it appears as if there's even more bad news for The New Day as it's been confirmed that Xavier Woods suffered an Achilles injury while competing at a non-televised live event in Sydney, Australia.

As a result, WWE has confirmed that Woods will be unable to finish the Australian tour and while we don't have specifics on his injury, it's likely to take him out of action for months.

This definitely comes at a bad time for The New Day and it remains to be seen whether they'll be used on television still or kept off screen until Woods has recovered. They're scheduled to take part in a big tag team match on Friday Night SmackDown this week but that will likely change now.

We'll keep you guys updated.
