The Crown Jewel PLE just wrapped up in Saudi Arabia and it was another WWE event with plenty of consequences for the future. The show kicked off with Roman Reigns and The Usos taking on three members of the new Bloodline, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga.
There's still tension between Roman and Jey, something which allowed Solo's faction to capitalise on the discord throughout the match. Ultimately, The Bloodline prevailed when Fatu laid waste to Reigns, setting the stage for Sikoa to hit a series of Samoan Spikes for the win.
The attack continued after the match, prompting Sami Zayn to hit the ring. After teasing a reunion with Solo, he sided with Reigns and the Usos but inadvertently hit Roman with a kick which only led to more problems for the babyfaces.
Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill retained the Women's Tag Team Championship against Damage CTRL, Meta-Four, and Chelsea Green & Piper Niven, while Seth Rollins picked up a shock win over Bronson Reed.
Liv Morgan became the first WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion after a series of distractions - largely caused by Tiffany Stratton's Money in the Bank briefcase - led to her defeating Nia Jax.
Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton never got started as the two men brawled at ringside, resulting in RAW General Manager Adam Pearce taking an RKO during the chaos! Ultimately, KO was left standing tall - well, mostly - after sending The Viper through a couple of tables.
LA Knight retained the United States Championship against Andrade and Carmelo Hayes, and in the main event, Cody Rhodes and Gunther squared off for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship.
It was a terrific bout with saw the American Nightmare pick up the win after reversing an attempted sleeper into a pinfall. The two men shook hands after the match in a sign of respect.
