It appears as if we can forget about seeing an Intercontinental Championship match at TLC thanks to an injury. However, it's not Shinsuke Nakamura who is injured and you can find out more here...

According to Dave Meltzer during the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, original TLC plans would have seen Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura defending his title against Braun Strowman.

The plan was to shoot an angle on last week's SmackDown to set the stage for this bout but the Monster Among Men is dealing with an injury, so WWE had to change their plans. Strowman also missed WWE Live events over the weekend and there are conflicting reports about whether he's dealing with back spasms or a sore hip.

Either way, Strowman is expected to be back in action soon and if he is cleared this week, then WWE could still shoot something so the match takes place on Sunday night at TLC as originally planned.

We'll keep you guys updated.
