The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for April 10, 2020 took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross retained the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship titles over The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) by pinfall. Later in the night, Carmella and Dana Brooke were congratulating them backstage and challenged them for a future title shot. Nikki Cross excitedly accepted the challenge.
— Elias sang a song about how he plans to win the Money in the Bank ladder match this year and go on to become the next champion.
— Dolph Ziggler defeated Tucker by pinfall.
— On an edition of The Dirt Sheet, The Miz and John Morrison cracked some jokes about "good news" going on right now. For instance, they retained the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. They also started to sing their "Hey Hey Ho Ho" song, but were interrupted by The Usos and The New Day. Next week, Jey Uso, Big E and The Miz will be in a tag title match.
— The Forgotten Sons are now on SmackDown and defeated Lucha House Party by pinfall.
— In a promo, Bayley volunteered Sasha Banks to fight Tamina. If Tamina wins, she'll get a title shot.
— Sheamus defeated Cal Bloom by pinfall.
— Next week, Daniel Bryan will face Cesaro and Naomi will face Dana Brooke in qualifying matches for Money in the Bank.
— Braun Strowman defeated Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall. Bray Wyatt then appeared and in an impromptu Firefly Fun House, he spoke about how he's going to teach Braun a lesson in sharing and wants an apology for how Braun left The Wyatt Family. Braun is more than willing, any time, to "let him in".
