The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown for December 20, 2019 took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— The show started with a promo segment from Daniel Bryan about Bray Wyatt. The Miz came out to address The Fiend, too. Then, King Corbin came out to say he was gunning for the universal title. Dolph Ziggler attacked The Miz and Bryan, setting up the main event for the night.
— Mandy Rose gave Otis a ham and a kiss on the cheek for his Secret Santa gift. Then, Heavy Machinery defeated The Revival by pinfall in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight. Otis later apologized to Mandy for the ham getting ruined in their match, but she said it was okay and gave him a hug and promptly got covered in his sweat.
— Braun Strowman wanted a shot at the Intercontinental Championship for his Secret Santa, but Sami Zayn declined as Nakamura and Cesaro were scheduled for a tag team match.
— Carmella defeated Sonya Deville by submission.
— The New Day defeated Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated The New Day by pinfall. Braun Strowman saved Big E and Kofi Kingston from a post-match 3-on-1 attack.
— Bayley defeated Dana Brooke by pinfall. Lacey Evans then came out to even the score when Bayley and Sasha Banks teamed up on Brooke.
— The Miz and Daniel Bryan defeated King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler by submission. The lights went out and Bray Wyatt's laugh ended the show.
